‘It’s Our Right’ is part of the MiFriendly Cities project in the West Midlands, co-funded by The European Regional Development Fund through the Urban Innovative Action’s initiative.
MiFriendly Cities held its Social Innovation Pitch Day in Birmingham on 30th March 2019, where we were awarded funding for ‘It’s Our Right’.
Our aim is to strengthen our local community with the power of knowledge and a clear understanding of their fundamental rights. MigrationWork provides consultancy support for us throughout this journey.
We engage particularly strongly with the local asylum and refugee community, including asylum seekers and refused asylum seekers. We also work with migrant and non-migrant groups with English language difficulties, people with no or limited access to legislation online, victims of domestic violence, children and their families.
We hope our project will reach many people and make positive changes in their lives.
We invite you to engage with us via social media and online.
